Clarity Is Strength: al-wuḍūḥ quwwa — الوضوح قوة

No grey areas in recruitment, in coaching or in life. This is why True Cost Clarity exists, why I started learning Arabic at 47, and why the phrase al-wuḍūḥ quwwa — clarity is strength — has become one I keep coming back to.

Clarity Is Strength: al-wuḍūḥ quwwa — الوضوح قوة

Good Morning — Sabah al-khair, صباح الخير

It really is a black and white deal for me.

No grey areas in recruitment. It is why we created True Cost Clarity™ — so our clients can see exactly what sits inside their charge rates, from holiday pay to pensions, and where every pound goes.

And definitely no grey areas in coaching, mentoring or teaching others.

People deserve to know where they stand. Clear expectations, honest conversations and straight answers — even when they are not the easy ones.

The same goes for what we share with others around the world.

The wisdom, the knowledge, the tools, the techniques and the processes that have helped so many people overcome challenges — personally and professionally — and reach those breakthrough moments.

None of it lands if it is wrapped in grey. Real clarity is what turns knowledge into inspired action.

Just Do It

People can make a whole career out of preparing and planning.

Just do it. And know that we will be rooting for your success.

Because just watch what happens when you make a committed decision: the people, the places and the resources start to show up.

A Phrase That Stays With You

There is a simple Arabic phrase I keep coming back to.

al-wuḍūḥ quwwa — الوضوح قوة

Clarity is strength.

I absolutely love this phrase. I think my children must have heard me say it a hundred times yesterday, and I am not sorry.

Some words just stick, and these three are going nowhere. Clarity really is strength — in business, in coaching and at home.

Why Arabic?

If you have ever wondered why a few Arabic words find their way into my posts, here is the answer.

It comes from a deep love, respect and appreciation for the people, the culture and the language.

I have worked in the Emirates more times than I can count, and I hold the people and region in the very highest regard. It has given me so much, and I want to give something back in a way that means something.

So I have started learning Arabic. I am right at the beginning — one word, one phrase and one early morning at a time.

At 47, I still believe in stretching and growing, and in confidently working towards those breakthrough moments myself — not just helping others find theirs. Because the learning, and the journey, never ends.

The Goal I Have Set Myself

Within 12 months, I want to hold real conversations in Arabic and record a video in the language.

Beyond that, my goal is to deliver a talk — or one of our full workshops or keynotes — entirely in Arabic.

It will not be easy, and guess what, it is not meant to be. But speaking to people in their own language is one of the deepest forms of respect I know.

Standing in Solidarity

This morning, with no grey area at all, we stand solidly and lovingly in solidarity with the people of Jordan.

🇯🇴 We are with you — naḥnu maʿakum: نحن معكم

So here is my question for your Sunday: what is the goal that stretches you — the one that scares and excites you a little, because it matters so much?

Have a great day.
